The Sharjah International Airport Authority has discussed with the British aviation and shipping companies ways to boost cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Fahem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Governmental Relations in Sharjah, Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the International Sharjah Airport Authority and Paul Fox, British Consul-General in Dubai and the Northern Regions Al Midfa welcomed the British Consul-General and the accompanying delegation, and noted that the British companies working in Sharjah emirate and Sharjah International Airport contributed effectively to economy and business, being important partners.

He also encouraged investors to participate in new investments and private projects, as well as enlarge the scope of current projects in Sharjah.

The British Consul-General thanked the Sharjah International Airport Authority for its efforts to promote bilateral relations and supporting the British companies that seek to invest in the emirate.
