Khartoum - Arab Today

Flynas has added a third destination to its flights between Saudi Arabia and Sudan with the launch of three weekly flights from Madinah to Khartoum, which start from 2 April 2014, as reported by Arab News. The launch is being promoted by special low fares of SR399 for Madinah to Khartoum and SR424 from Khartoum to Madinah. “We already operate flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Khartoum and now we are very pleased to add the Madinah-Khartoum route to our services between Saudi Arabia and Sudan,” said Raja Azmi, CEO of flynas. “Coming as part of our promise to make flying more convenient, comfortable and cost-effective, this latest destination will be of great advantage to business and domestic passengers as well benefiting pilgrims visiting the holy city.” Since its launch in 2007, flynas has carried more than 15 million passengers on 140,000 flights, with the highest rate of growth recorded in 2013 when the airline carried 3.3 million passengers. With a young fleet consisting of 27 aircraft with Business and Economy class services, the recent re-branding and services development has given flynas the capability for further growth as the airline continues to expand by adding more key destinations to its local, regional and international route map as part of its 20X20 strategy targeting 20 million passengers a year by 2020.
