The Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum unveiled on Wednesday the program of a visit by an Egyptian popular delegation to Sudan.

An Egyptian popular parliamentary delegation, led by Ambassador Mohamed Al Orabi, the former Egyptian foreign minister and current member of the House of Representatives and head of the Egyptian identity front, will pay a visit to Sudan on Thursday.

Abdel Rahman Abdel Fattah Nassef, the media advisor at the Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum, told MENA that the delegation will include a number of businessmen and leaders of the Egyptian identity front, including former Egyptian consul in Khartoum and current parliament member Hatem Bashat, assistant secretary-general and spokesman Hosam Isa and executive member Rawan Khaled Mohi el Din.

The delegation, scheduled to arrive in Khartoum early on Thursday, will, on the first day, visit a number of Sudanese institutions, the Sudanese chamber of commerce and Sudan's telecommunications company, Nassef said.

On Friday, the delegation will perform noon prayers and meet with prominent preacher Sheikh Mohammed Al Hassan and attend a dinner banquet, to be hosted by Sudanese Vice President Hassabo Mohammed Abdul Rahman, he added.

On the third day, the Egyptian delegation will visit the council of African parties and the general federation of Sudanese journalists, before attending a ceremony to be held by the world popular friendship council, the media advisor said.

On the fourth and last day of the visit, the Egyptian popular delegation will visit the Sudanese foreign ministry, inspect the national dialogue sessions, currently held in Khartoum, before visiting the Sudanese parliament, he added.

By the end of the visit, the delegation will be received by Assistant Sudanese President Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamed, Nassef concluded.
