In a bid to break the Guinness World Records, Tourism Minister Khalid Ramy participated Friday with 400 divers in cleaning the bottom of the Red Sea in Hurghada.

In press statements, Ramy said such events are necessary to promote Egyptian tourism and reflect security and stability in the country.

"By organizing such events, we eye drawing the attention of the world to recreational diving activities in Egypt," he said.
