Sanaa - SPA

Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Internatioanl Commissions and Organizations and International Organizations Affairs Husham Badr announced today the winning of his country a seat at the International Tourism Organization (ITO) for the term 2013 - 2017. In a statement, Badr said the efforts of the Egyptian delegation, led by Minister of Tourism Husham Za’azou, to the 20th General Assembly of the ITO held from 24 - 29 August in the Republic of Zambia combined with the diplomatic efforts exerted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to win pre-election support for Egypt's candidature together led to Egypt's winning the seat at elections held during the General Assembly of ITO. He pointed out that the elected Council was composed of 32 countries, including three Arab countries: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Tunisia.
