Slashes fares to China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea. The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) announced a seat sale to all its destinations in China, starting at P1 for its Xiamen flights. This seat sale is available from September 10 to 13, 2012 or until seats last; and valid for travel from November 1, 2012 to January 31, 2013. Reduced fares from Manila to Hong Kong and Macau are also available at P888. Discounted fares from Manila to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Taipei start at P1,088.   CEB guests travelling from Clark to Macau and Hong Kong can get seats for as low as P688. This discounted fare is valid for the travel period September 15 to December 15, 2012. For travel dates between November 1, 2012 to April 30, 2012, fares from Manila to Osaka (Japan), Incheon (Korea), Pusan (Korea), are available for as low as P1988. The same fare is also available to CEB guests from Cebu who will fly to Korea via Incheon or Pusan. “Xiamen is a charming coastal city in Mainland China with a perfect mix of cultural heritage, and beautiful natural scenery, for every Juan to discover. We encourage our guests to take advantage of P1 fares to Xiamen and our discounted fares to all CEB destinations in China for travel this November.” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution. CEB’s Visayas routes are also covered in this seat sale. For the travel period October 10 to December 31, 2012, CEB guests travelling from Cebu to Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Clark, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, Iloilo, General Santos, Legazpi, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Surigao, Tacloban or Zamboanga, can get seats for as low as P188. The same reduced fare is available for those travelling from Cagayan de Oro to Iloilo; Davao to Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo or Zamboanga; or Zamboanga to Tawi-Tawi. Other discounted domestic routes covered in this seat sale include fares from Manila to Bacolod, Boracay (Caticlan), Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Kalibo, Roxas, Tacloban or Tagbilaran for as low as P688. The same discounted fare is available for those travelling from Cebu to Boracay (Caticlan), or Siargao. CEB guests who do not have credit cards may conveniently book flights online and pay through CEB partner banks and payment centers. “Travelers can also select seats in advance and avail of CEB’s web check-in service for their travel convenience,” Iyog added. The latest seat sales can also be found on CEB’s official Twitter and Facebook pages. CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 21 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Its fleet of 39 aircraft – with an average age of 3.6 years – is one of the youngest aircraft fleets in Asia. Between 2012 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 21 more Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders. It is slated to begin long-haul services in the 3rd quarter of 2013.
