Spokesman of the Red Sea Ports Authority Abdel Rahim Mostafa said that the ports of the authority transferred 160,777 tourists during the past tourist season via shuttle trips.

As many as 80,901 tourists were received and 79,876 tourists left the ports of Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada, Nuwieba, Safaga and el Sokhna, he said.

The number increased by 142% than the last tourism season, he added.
