Big Sean has earned his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
The 26-year-old rapper released Dark Sky Paradise on February 24, and sold 173,000 copies in the record's first week. Previous albums Finally Famous and Hall of Fame both debuted at No. 3, and sold 87,000 and 72,000 copies comparatively.
"Thank u guys for an amazing week and giving me my 1st #1 album! Dark Sky Paradise!" the star wrote Tuesday on Twitter. "The support means everything. truly Blessed!"
Kanye West, Drake, Chris Brown, John Legend, Lil Wayne, E-40, Ty Dolla Sign and Jhene Aiko contributed to Dark Sky Paradise. Kanye West and Drake are featured on the album's third single, "Blessings," and Big Sean released a music video for the song Tuesday.
