US secretary of state to visit Jordan Wednesday

US Secretary of State John Kerry will visit Jordan Wednesday as part of his Europe and Middle-East tour, the US State Department said Saturday.
The Jordanian news agency Petra news reported today that Kerry will discuss the crisis in Iraq as well as the latest developments in the Middle-East. Kerry will also meet a number of ranking Jordanian officials, in addition to meeting a number of Iraqi political figures who seek refuge in Jordan in light of the violence that broke out in the North and West of Iraq.
