Michael Bolton to perform in Egypt October 21

US singer Michael Bolton is set to perform live in Egypt on October 21.

Bolton will be singing at the RMC Theater as part of efforts by the Egyptian Tourism Ministry and Tourism Authority to promote travel to Egypt and restore the flow of tourists.

Sponsored by the Tourism Authority, the concert will be organized in cooperation with RMC Worldwide Partners, said Hisham el Demairi, the head of the authority on Tuesday.

Bolton has expressed happiness to visit and perform in Egypt, Demairi added.

This concert is meant to send a positive message to the world about Egypt, he noted, hoping it will help revive the tourism movement given Bolton's big popularity. 

Bolton is an American musician with over 75 million album sales. He has won several Grammy and American Music awards, with many of his hits topping the charts internationally.
