German economy minister to take part in New Suez Canal opening
German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel

German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel will take part in the inauguration of the New Suez Canal project slated for August 6, Egypt's Ambassador to Germany Mohamed Hegazy told MENA on Thursday.
The remarks were made on the sidelines of ceremony held to mark the 63rd anniversary of July 23 Revolution.
The ceremony was attended by a raft of German officials and businessmen.
