Egyptian minister inaugurates Millennium Dam meetings Wednesday

Ethiopia will hand over to Egypt on Wednesday the chairmanship of the 6th session of the tripartite national committee on the Ethiopian Millennium Dam in conformity with a roadmap agreed upon by the ministers of water in the three countries in their meetings in Khartoum in August.
Egypt's Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hossam Moghazi will inaugurate the meetings of the committee which comprises 12 experts (four from each of Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia).
The Sudanese and Ethiopian water ministers will deliver speeches ahead of the proceedings which will take place at a closed session.
Egypt's chairmanship of the meetings will remain until the coming round of meetings.
