Muslim World League chief to visit Egypt by end of week

Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsen Al Turki, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, will pay a visit to Egypt by the end of this week.
During the visit, Al Turki will meet with Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb, Egypt's grand Mufti Shawki Allah and Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, Secretary General of the League of Islamic Universities Secretary Jafar Abdel Salam said in statements Friday.
He will also meet with Local Development Minister Ahmed Zaki Badr and High Education Minister Ashraf el Shehi.
Al Turki will chair the meetings of the executive council of League of Islamic Universities, which will be held in Assiut on March 3 through 6.
The council will discuss several important issues in the Islamic world, mainly the relationship between terrorism and media.
