Sudan will participate in the 13th session of the conference of the United Nations Convention on Desertification and Climate Change scheduled to be held in China during Sept.10-11 .
Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Abdulatif Egemi told SUNA that the conference will discuss issues pertinent to combating desertification and addressing the challenges of climate change, pointing out the participation of a number of experts from Sudan in the activities of the conference .
He outlined that he will meet his Chinese opposite number to review spheres of joint cooperation and means for implementation of the agreements signed by the two countries .
The minister added that the visit which will start tomorrow, Saturday, will witness the investment projects presented to China by some Sudanese states .
