Japanese emperor receives credentials of Egypt ambassador

Emperor of Japan Akihito Saturday received a copy of the credentials of Egypt's Ambassador here Ismail Khairat.
Khairat said he is assuming the post as Egypt and Japan turn a new leaf in terms of bilateral relations following the visit by the Japanese prime minister to Egypt in January.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is expected to visit Japan the end of 2015, Khairat said.
