Iraqi defence minister discusses with New Zealand counterpart efforts to fight Daesh

Iraq's Defense Minister Khalid Al Obeidi on Tuesday received his New Zealand counterpart Gerry Brownlee.
The meeting dealt with bilateral relations and war against Daesh in Iraq.
The two ministers discussed support provided by the New Zealand Government to Iraq in the security field, a statement issued by the Iraqi Defense Ministry said.
The two sides also discussed sending trainers from New Zealand to support the Iraqi forces in their war against Daesh, the statement added.
