The stage is set for the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2017).

The three-day event will open on Monday, October 16, under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.

Royal Guard Commander, BIDEC High Organising Committee Brigadier His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa inspected preparations at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC).

He was updated in details about specialized committees and security measures, extending deepest thanks to HM King Hamad, the Supreme Commander for patronizing BIDEC 2017.

He commended outstanding preparations which reflect professionalism and competence, hailing dedicated efforts to organize the conference and exhibition.

He lauded the members of the organizing committee as well as the employees and participants in the world-class event, expressing confidence in the ability of the national cadres to assume all duties.

He paid tribute the Bahraini Defence Force (BDF) for its support to ensure the success of the conference and exhibition as part of its national role in maintain security and stability.

Brig. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa welcomed the participants and attendees, citing particularly the main partners – the Saudi-led Arab Alliance in support of legitimate rule in Yemen and the Islamic Alliance for combating terrorism.
