Awqaf Minister to visit Kazakhstan next week

Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa will head next week for Astana leading a senior delegation on a four-day visit to Kazakhstan.

In statements to MENA, Gomaa said that, during the visit, he will meet with a number of officials, parliamentarians and scholars in Kazakhstan.

During the visit, Gomaa will attend International Conference “Religions against Terrorism” organized by the Kazakh government with the participation of delegations from different States.

Gomaa said that he will lead the Egyptian side to the meeting of the board of trustees of the Egyptian university for Islamic culture affiliated to the Kazakh Awqaf Ministry.

He will also participate in an international conference on the role of Islamic educational institutes in fighting religious extremism.
