Prime Minister of Tunisia Habib Essid met Friday with a US Congress delegation currently visiting the country.
In a statement released today to the press by the Tunisian cabinet, the delegation expressed Washington's support to the democratic transformation process in Tunisia. The delegation added in the statement that it decided to pay the visit to show its solidarity with the Tunisian people and government after the terrorist attacks that killed 23 tourists and injured 47 others in Bardo National Museum.
