Tunisia, US discuss promoting cooperation, fighting terrorism

Tunisia's President Beji Caid Essebsi received a phone call from US President Barack Obama to discuss promoting cooperation, said a statement by the Tunisian presidency on Friday.
The United States is committed to standing by Tunisia in its democratic transition and war against terrorism after an attack on a museum in Tunisia's capital.
Tunisia represents a unique model of democracy in the region, Obama said.
