Sudanese defense minister meets Egyptian envoy

Sudanese National Defense Minister Awad Ibn Auf met with Egyptian Ambassador here Osama Shaltout on Monday.
The Egyptian envoy handed over an invitation to the Sudanese minister from Egyptian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi to attend a meeting of defense ministers of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD).
Speaking to MENA, Shaltout said the Sudanese national defense minister welcomed the invitation and affirmed his country's participation in the meeting with a delegation led by State Minister at the Defense Ministry Ibrahim Mohamed al Hassan.
The CEN-SAD meeting will take place in Egypt's Sharm El Sheikh on March 22-25.
