President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Wednesday, Joe Kaeser, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG, in the presence of Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker and Minister of Transport Galal Saed along with engineer Hany Azer, a member of the advisory council of Egypt's scholars.

Presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said Kaeser briefed the president on the latest developments in establishing three power stations in Beni Suef, Borolos and the new administrative city, in addition to installing three turbines in Beni Suef plant.

The spokesman pointed out that the stations to be carried out by Siemens will be among the largest in the world and will provide 30,000 job opportunities.

He stressed the importance of cooperation between the German companies and Egyptian ones operating in power domains, praising the seriousness of the German company in carrying out the projects in a record time.

The spokesman said that president Sisi hailed the pace of implementation of the projects in Egypt by the German company, pointing out that the company will also work in Egypt in other areas such railways and infrastructure.
