President Abdel Fattah El Sisi left Amman on Friday after taking part in the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa.

President Sisi was seen off by Deputy Prime Minister of Jordan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh and Egypt's Ambassador in Amman Khaled Tharwat.

On the sidelines of the forum, President Sisi held a raft of meetings with several leaders and officials partaking in the gathering.

In his speech before the forum on Friday, President Sisi reviewed challenges facing the Arab region.

He also touched upon Egypt's comprehensive development plan until 2030 meant to attract investments and create an investment-friendly climate in the country.

Sisi said that Egypt will be hosting the upcoming international economic forum on the Middle East and North Africa in May 2016 and invited all participants in this conference to attend the event.

On Thursday, President Sisi held a meeting with Jordan's King Abdullah II to discuss the latest regional and international developments.
