Sarraj meets Luxembourg FM
President of the Presidency Council of Libya Fayez Sarraj

President of the Presidency Council of Libya Fayez Sarraj met with Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn, Libyan news agency reported on Saturday.
During the meeting, they took up the bilateral relations between the two countries, developments in the Libyan political crisis and illegal immigration.
Jean Asselborn reiterated his country's support to Libyan government led by Sarraj, underlining the importance of the political solution to the Libyan crisis.
Asselborn also confirmed his country's understanding to the Libyan stance of refusing illegal immigrants settlement as well as the necessity of their repatriation.
From his side, Sarraj highlighted the importance of fulfilling commitments of the European countries towards combating illegal immigration.
He also said that this problem affects Libya negatively and needs radical solutions.
