Qatar's state defence minister meets Turkish counterpart

HE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Major-General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah met Wednesday with Turkish Minister of Defense Ismet Yilmaz on the sidelines of the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2015), which was opened yesterday in Istanbul by President Recep Tayyib Erdogan.
The meeting reviewed issues of mutual interest and discussed aspects of military cooperation between Qatar and Turkey.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to Turkey Salem bin Mubarak Al-Shafi attended the meeting along with the delegation accompanying HE the minister and a number of Turkish officials.
