The Foreign Minister, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour, Tuesday received in his office the visiting Danish State Minister for Foreign Affairs and discussed progress of the bilateral relations in all fields.
Prof. Ghandour has briefed the Danish minister on the situation in Sudan in all domains, referring to the vast opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, especially in the agricultural and trade fields as well as the large chances for investment in Sudan.
The Danish minister has expressed congratulation to Sudan on the lifting of the economic sanctions, announcing the desire of his country to invest and cooperate with Sudan.
He said that he will meet a number of Sudanese officials working in the economic field and the private sector institutions.
The meeting also tackled the progress achieved in the relations and the dialogue between Sudan and the European Union and the agreement to establish a mechanism for coordination and consultation between the two sides.
