Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met on Wednesday with visiting Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov.

During the meeting, Ismail praised deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and Russia in all fields.

Ismail said the government is currently adopting a plan to improve the quality of services provided for citizens in the fields of communications and information technology.

He invited Russian companies to invest in the technological zone in eastern Port Said.

Nikiforov, meanwhile, praised the level of cooperation between Egypt and Russia in various fields.

The visit aims at exchanging expertise and boosting cooperation in the field of communications and information technology between the two countries.
