Pope Tawadros II receives former Jordanian Crown Prince

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese on Wednesday received former Jordanian Crown Prince El Hassan bin Talal and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Pope Tawadros invited the prince to visit a number of Coptic monasteries in Egypt, pointing out that Jesus Christ was baptized in Jordan.
The prince asked the pope to send a church delegation to check refugees in Jordan.
He was accompanied by a number of Jordanian figures and politicians as well as a number of the Jordanian embassy in Cairo’s officials.
