Parliament speaker, Chinese ambassador in Cairo probe joint ties

Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal met Thursday with the Chinese Ambassador here Song Aiguo where they discussed means of promoting bilateral relations.
Aiguo hailed the meeting held between Abdel Aal and his Chinese counterpart in the Zambian capital on the sidelines of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Conference where the two sides agreed about fighting terrorism and the importance of boosting joint economic ties for the best interests of the two peoples, according to a statement issued by the parliament's media office on Thursday.
The get-together was attended by the House of Representatives Secretary General Ahmed Saad Eldin.
