Palestinian president meets Danish parliament speaker

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday met Danish Parliament Speaker Pia Kjaersgaard and the delegation accompanying her.
During the meeting, President Abbas briefed the Danish speaker on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, stressing the importance of the international community's support for the peace process in line with the French initiative.
In turn, Kjaersgaard reiterated her country's support for the existing political process based on the two-state solution.
