Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas held a meeting on Saturday with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on the margin of the 26th Arab Summit, currently in session in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh.
During the gathering, they mulled over the recent developments in the Palestinian territories in the light of the ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.
Also, they talked about future steps to be taken by the Palestinian leadership to establish an independent state.
