Mayor of Munich receives UAE consul general

Mayor of Munich, Dieter Reiter, has received the UAE Consul General in Munich, Khalid bin Ghelaita Al Muhairi, in his office.
The mayor said his city is popular for the UAE visitors and many other nationalities, citing tolerance and co-existence enjoyed by the city. Earlier, the mayor contested in the elections under the logo of "Munich, a cosmopolitan city with heart".
The UAE consul general congratulated the mayor on winning the election, calling for more co-operation between the consulate and the municipality.
He briefed the mayor about the efforts being exerted by the consulate to strengthen friendship between the UAE's visitors and local population in Munich in particular and the Bavaria State in general
