Mauritanian president meets Omani FM

Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz received on Wednesday a verbal message from Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman.
The message tackled ways of developing relations between the two countries as an Omani embassy will be opened in Mauritania a few weeks later.
This came during a meeting between the Mauritanian president and Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah in Nouakchott.
They discussed also a number of regional issues, atop of which is the situation in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya.
They agreed to continue consultations about regional issues in the coming period.
