Jordan's Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi

Jordan's Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi met on Monday in Amman with Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq Jan Kubis.
They discussed the latest developments in the Iraqi arena. They also reviewed political developments in Iraq and of the war against ISIS in Mosul. The meeting also dealt with efforts to establish security and stability in the region.
Safadi stressed Jordan's support to Iraq in its war against terrorism, the national reconciliation and the role carried out by the UN in this regard.
