Jordanian King Abdullah II met with Commander of US Central Command, Gen. Joseph Votel at al Husseinieh Palace on Monday.
The meeting took up joint cooperation especially in the military field and efforts exerted to counter terrorism and extremism, according to a statement issued by the Jordanian Royal Court on Monday.
The get-together was attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Mahmoud Freihat.
