Iraqi Prime Minister meets Turkish Counterpart

Prime Minister of Iraq Haider Al Abadi met here on the Saturday with his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim, who is on an official visit to Baghdad.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and the developments of counter-terrorism efforts and the operation of retaking Mosul in addition to matters of mutual interest.
Al Abadi and Yildirim will co-chair the meeting of the Iraqi-Turkish High-Level Strategic Council. During his visit to Baghdad, Yildirim will also hold meetings with the Iraqi President Fuad Masum and Parliament Speaker Salim Al Jabouri.
