Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim Al Jabouri met here today with Yukio Okamoto envoy of Japanese government and the President of Okamoto Associates Foundation for Political and Economic Consultancy.
Talks during the meeting, focused on nature of the political and security situation in addition to ways of enhancing cooperation in the field of economic development between the two countries.
Al Jabouri praised humanitarian role of the Japanese government in Iraq, stressing keenness of the parliament to approve legislation that would ease restrictions in the field of investment and encourage investors to enter the Iraqi market.
