Iraqi, Italian ministers discuss boosting security cooperation

Iraqi Interior Minister Mohammed Salem al Ghabban discussed on Wednesday with visiting Italian Defense Minister Roberta Pinotti ways of boosting bilateral security cooperation in fighting terror and equipping and training Iraq security forces.
This came during a meeting held between al Ghabban and Pinotti in Baghdad.
During the gathering, the Italian minister said that Italy has launched a first training course for the Iraqi security forces.
Earlier, Italian Ambassador to Iraq Marco Carnelos has said that the Italian defense minister will pay a visit to Iraq to foster bilateral political and security cooperation.
