Investment min., Sawiris discuss increasing Orascom's local investments

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr met on Thursday with Chairman of Orascom Telecom Media and Tech Naguib Sawiris.
The two sides discussed means of increasing Orascom's local investments.
The minister asserted that her role, which comes on top of the ministry's agenda, is to resolve any problem facing investors which would in turn encourage investors to pump more investments in various sectors.
These investments, Nasr added, would have a positive impact on increasing growth rates and providing thousands of job opportunities for the youth.
On that score, the minister said the government's main goal is to reduce unemployment rates and provide more job opportunities.
Meanwhile, Sawiris expressed thanks to the minister for her efforts to improve the investment climate and to remove any obstacles facing investors.
He also said that Orascom is looking forward to pumping more investments in the Egyptian market within the coming three months.
