Interior Minister receives UK Ambassador

Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today received British Ambassador, Simon Martin, and reviewed bilateral relations and joint interests.
The meeting attended by Deputy Interior Minister Shaikh Talal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan.
The Interior Minister hailed security cooperation and mutual trust between the two countries, expressing appreciation to the United Kingdom for designating outlawed Bahraini groups as terrorist organisations.
He said the UK proactive counter-terrorism initiative reflects the international community's resolve to fight all form of terrorism. Adding other countries could be motivated to take similar steps against terrorist organisations and groups that constantly attempt harming Bahrain’s security and stability.
