Interior minister receives Interpol Washington director

Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received here today the Director of Interpol Washington, U.S.A, Wayne Salzgaber.
Public Security Chief, Major-General Tariq bin Hassan Al-Hassan, was present.
The minister welcomed the visit of Interpol Washington Director, noting that it is within the framework of communication and exchange of points of view between the Interpol authorities in the two friendly countries.
Shaikh Rashid highlighted the importance of international police cooperation and exchange of expertise regarding the development of the administrative and police skills through the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol).
Salzgaber was informed about the Interior Ministry’s efforts to develop and modernise all the security sectors, within the framework of its constant efforts to maintain security and ensure public safety for all the citizens and residents.
Director-General of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security, and Interpol Director also attended.
