Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi lauded the farsighted vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, in boosting the status of Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) as one of the most outstanding international sport establishments and national tourism, civilisational and investment landmarks. He was speaking as he received today BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa. He discussed with him ways of bolstering joint cooperation to promote the kingdom's economic and investment attractiveness and highlight sporting, artistic and recreational events organised by BIC, the home of motorsport in the Middle East.

The Information Minister expressed appreciation of the ongoing cooperation with BIC to provide facilities as well as media and technical services while hosting international sport championships. He also pointed out coordination in organising the National Day Festival and showcasing festivities and programmes that reflect Bahrain's history and civilisation as well as its pioneering achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
