His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister emphasized that Bahrain looks at its relations with the sisterly State of Kuwait from a special perspective.
HRH the Premier affirmed that Bahrain’s relations with the State of Kuwait stand on firm foundations and links and that makes them a glittering example of bilateral ties in the region.


"The deep-rooted strong brotherly bonds have paved the bilateral cooperation horizons between our two countries across the various fields and levels," His Royal Highness added, reminiscing with appreciation and acknowledgment the stances of the State of Kuwait led by the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jabir Al Sabah, vis-à-vis Bahrain which will remain vivid in the Bahraini national memory, because these stances genuinely embodied the strong bilateral ties and its special nature, said HRH the Premier, praising the role of HH the Amir of Kuwait in advancing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) march and maintaining its accomplishments.
This came as HRH the Prime Minister received in Riffa Palace today HH Shaikh Nasser Al Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the State of Kuwait who conveyed to HRH the Premier the greetings of HH the Amir of Kuwait, his utmost keenness on advancing the historic fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait and his delight with the outcome of the brotherly visit of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister to the State of Kuwait recently, in bolstering the bilateral cooperation and coordination.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister welcomed the visiting Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence, lauding the importance of the visit in terms of boosting the bilateral cooperation in all fields, especially pertaining to the defence aspects.

His Royal Highness affirmed that the developments in the region and the world necessitate intensification of meetings between the brethren to coordinate stances and moves to deal with them in the best manner to ensure the security of the region and to support the GCC progress and Arab solidarity.

HRH the Premier and the Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence explored various topics pertaining to the Bahraini-Kuwaiti cooperation as well as coordination of stances vis-à-vis latest regional and international developments.

The Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Defence Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness the prime Minister for his tremendous attention to strengthening and promoting the Bahraini-Kuwaiti ties to vast cooperation in various fields, affirming that His Royal Highness the Prime Minister has always expressed wisdom and penetrating farsightedness regarding issues emanating from His Royal Highness’s expertise and wisdom, adding that His Royal Highness is a high value to the Gulf and Arab countries and the source of all pride. He expressed gratitude for the welcoming reception and hospitality accorded to him and his delegation that bespeak of the strong bilateral ties.
