HRH Premier receives French ambassador

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today newly-appointed French Ambassador to Bahrain Cecile Longe.
He lauded deep-rooted relations of friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and France based on mutual respect, understanding and joint coordination regarding regional and international issues.
HRH the Premier stressed the significance of the growing bilateral cooperation in various fields, which reflects mutual keenness to consolidate ties.
He expressed hope the next phase would witness more bilateral work to broaden the scope of cooperation for the common interest of both countries and peoples. He wished the French ambassador every success in her diplomatic work to further promote bilateral cooperation mainly in the economic, trade and investment fields. He also wished France and the French people more progress and prosperity.
The ambassador expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for bolstering Bahraini-French relations, stressing her country's keenness to strengthen them and praising Bahrain's development in many fields.
