HH the Emir Meets U.N. Secretary General's Humanitarian Envoy

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at his Emiri Diwan office on Monday with U.N. Secretary General's Humanitarian Envoy, HE Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Muraikhi.
At the start of the meeting, the U.N. secretary-general's humanitarian envoy thanked HH the Emir for the aids and support the State of Qatar provides for the humanitarian and relief projects around the world. He then briefed HH the Emir on the results of his recent field visit to the Syrian refugee camps in neighboring countries and his future plans to support humanitarian work in areas of famine, conflict, and humanitarian disasters in some world countries.
The meeting also reviewed cooperation ties between Qatar and the organization in the different humanitarian fields.
