The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met Acting Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Republic of the Philippines, Enrique Manalo.
Shaikh Khalid said that President Roa Duterte’s visit to Bahrain reflects the shared desire to reinforce relations between the two countries, expressing pride in the highly progressing cooperation in all fields.
The minister underlined the importance of visits by officials from both countries to attain broader cooperation in all domains and praised the contributions of the Philippine community in the Kingdom’s development process.
Manalo expressed happiness for visiting Bahrain and meeting Shaikh Khalid for consultations and exchange of views on issues of shared interest.
He said his country is proud of its outstanding relations with Bahrain and voiced desire to further boost them, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
