FM Shaikh Khalid receives Maldivian presidential envoy.

Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received today the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Maldives, Minister of Family and Gender, Zenysha Shaheed Zaki.
During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's pride in its friendly relations with the Republic of Maldives, praising the great progress made in expanding joint cooperation in all fields in the interests and benefits of both countries and peoples.
For her part, the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Maldives praised the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, stressing the importance of pushing these relations to wider horizons and enhancing joint coordination on various issues in international forums, noting the progress of Bahraini women in all fields and wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
