Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and Sudanese First Vice President Bakri Hassan Saleh held a meeting Thursday on the sidelines of opening the border terminal of Qastal-Ashkit.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of boosting Egyptian-Sudanese ties in the various fields.

They also tackled the latest developments in the Arab and regional arenas.

The meeting, held at Ashkit port, also took up ways to increase the volume of trade exchange, after opening the border terminal of Qastal-Ashkit.
