Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF General Headquarters today the UK Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach, currently on a visit to the kingdom to take part in the 13th IISS Manama Dialogue.
Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Yussef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were also present.
The commander-in-chief reviewed with the UK CDS the outstanding long-standing Bahraini-British friendship and cooperation relations.
He praised the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries, especially regarding the exchange of expertise and cooperation in the military field.
