Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Hegazy on Tuesday received Air Component Commander for US Central Command Lieutenant General Jeffrey Harrigian, and his accompanying delegation now visiting Cairo.
The meeting took up several issues of common concern in light of coordination and partnership ties linking the two countries.
The two sides also discussed means of promoting joint military cooperation in various fields.
They also tackled recent regional developments that overshadowed the security and stability in the Middle East.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior army officials.
